Hello everyone,

I know that Apereo Cas is cookie based technology (CASTGC cookie, represents a SSO session for a user see: https://apereo.github.io/cas/6.2.x/protocol/CAS-Protocol.html).

But I wonder is it somehow possible to have SSO feature without cookie in Apereo Cas.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

For web interactions, the SSO mechanism relies on a cookie.

For web services, no cookie is needed via the CAS proxy mechanism: https://apereo.github.io/cas/6.2.x/protocol/CAS-Protocol.html#proxy-web-flow-diagram

Thanks.
Best regards,
Jérôme
