What version to use for production when upgrading to latest CAS

I have been using CAS 4.x for 2+ years in production, and it is time to upgrade.

I have successfully built and deployed the latest from git.

Is CAS 6.0.0-SNAPSHOT the correct version for production environments?

Answered my own question:

As of today, version 6 is a pre-release, and v5.3.6 is the latest: https://github.com/apereo/cas/releases/tag/v5.3.6

SNAPSHOT builds are pre-release and should be used for testing only.

The 5.3 branch prior to 5.3.7-SNAPSHOT has a known issue with Google Apps SAML integration. The 5.3.7 release is planned for the end of this month, so you can safely use the 5.3.7-SNAPSHOT for testing.
