CAS login screen flashing when redirecting to ADFS

Whenever a user attempts to authenticate with CAS 5.3.14 delegating to ADFS, the CAS login screen flashes for a second then redirects to the ADFS login page. How can I configure CAS login webflow to not show the CAS login page?
