Folks,

This morning we were able to push the first uPortal Docker image to
apereo/uPortal-demo...

This development means that if you have Docker installed -- but without
any other prerequisites at all, including Git, Gradle, Tomcat, and even
Java -- you can run a demo (a.k.a. 'quickstart') copy of uPortal with
the following command:

  - $ docker run -it -p 8080:8080 apereo/uportal-demo

The image is larger than we'd like (we'll work on it), and the process
takes longer than we'd like (3-5 min), but once it completes you can
point your browser at localhost:8080 and see vanilla uPortal!

Call to Action
------------------

Please visit the repository on hub.docker.com (link above) and "star" it.

Please also "pull" the repo by running the command above.

Thank you,

drew

Correction:  that should be "localhost:8080/uPortal"
