2025 Paleontological Society Grants:
Feb. 1: The Paleontological Society supports research for early-career paleontologists, including two early-career grants. Consider applying for either, or pass this along to colleagues who may be interested in applying!
The Arthur James Boucot Research Grants support early-career paleontologists in the fields of morphology, taxonomy, and biostratigraphy, working on any taxa, preferably with some combination of these approaches and a significant fieldwork component.
The Norman Newell Grants complement the Arthur Boucot grants, and preference is therefore given to research projects in areas not covered by the Arthur Boucot grant topical areas.
Feb. 10: Student Research Grants: Undergraduate and graduate students conducting research on any aspect of paleontology may apply.
March 1: Heidemarie Johnson Scholarship Fund in Applied Student Educational Experiences
March 2: Outreach and Education Grants: Attention paleo-educator members! The E&O Committee is accepting proposals for grants to support programs and activities involving educational outreach and community engagement.
April 1: PalSIRP Sepkoski Grants, our expanded small grants program for paleontologists in select countries internationally
