Dear all,

We are pleased to invite you to participate virtually as a speaker in a Pre-Meeting Course on Paleobryology, to be held during the first week of September 2026. The course is organized in connection with the 19th Argentine Symposium of Paleobotany and Palynology and the 58th Annual Meeting of the AASP (The Palynological Society).

The course aims to provide a space for exchange among researchers, students, and anyone interested in the evolutionary history of bryophytes, particularly their fossil record.

We welcome short talks (20 minutes) on fossil and extant bryophytes and related topics (e.g., pre-Cretaceous liverworts, fossil spores, enigmatic “putative bryophytes”, and specific case studies).

We will receive proposals until April 20, 2026.
