ICANN87 Fellowship and NextGen@ICANN87 Applications Now Open

Dear APAC Space members,

 

Applications for the ICANN87 Fellowship and NextGen@ICANN87 programs are now open until 19 April and 1 May 2026, respectively. The ICANN87 Meeting will be held in Muscat, Oman, from 17 to 22 October 2026. We encourage all who are eligible to apply via the application portal. Please feel free to share this opportunity with your colleagues/friends who may be interested/eligible.

 

More details on both programs are as follows:

• The ICANN Fellowship Program is designed for candidates aged at least 21 and have interests or are engaged in the various components of ICANN’s work in policy building, the operation of the DNS, and the security and stability of the global Internet. Applicants should have previously received no more than two fellowships at the time of application. Click here to access the application portal.
• The NextGen@ICANN Program is designed for university students aged 18-30 residing or studying in the region hosting the selected ICANN meetings. This program provides opportunities for participants to better understand ICANN’s role in Internet governance and the multistakeholder model. Selected students are expected to develop and deliver a 10-minute presentation during the meeting under the guidance of experienced mentors. Click here to access the application portal.
