Save the Date for the AANZCA Conference 2026

“Storytelling in an age of disruption”

Hosted by Murdoch University, Western Australia

We are delighted to announce that AANZCA26 will be hosted by Murdoch University and held in person on the lands of the Whadjuk Noongar people and online.

The main conference will take place at the South Street campus from Wednesday November 25th to Friday November 27th, with an ECR/HDR day on Tuesday, November 24th.

Those who present at AANZCA26 will be invited to submit a full paper version of their presentation for consideration in conference special issues of the journals Communication Research and Practice and Media International Australia.

We would also like to announce two pre-conference events running on Monday November 23rd:
