We are recruiting  2 x casual Research Assistants to support a research partnership between Swinburne University of Technology's Social Innovation Research Institute and NAPWHA (the National Association of People with HIV Australia). Applications close August 11.


The Swinburne team includes Professor Kath Albury; Associate Professor César Albarrán-Torres and Dr Kyle Moore (Media and Communication) and Dr Julia Tomasetti (Law).

 

Both roles are suitable for postgraduate students. Previous experience of report-writing and/or plain English writing for non-academic audiences is an essential criteria for both roles.

 

We are flexible regarding work hours and location, but you be have a visa that allows you to work in Australia, and be available for meetings during regular business hours (Melbourne time). 


Both RAs will work the equivalent of about 20 days FTE in 2025. The media and communication RA will work an additional 20 days FTE between Jan-March 2026. 

 

Successful candidates will be paid at Swinburne RA Level 3 (approx $50/hour). For more information, and a copy of the full position description, please contact:
