ANZCA WEBINAR PANEL EVENT | 16 FEBRUARY

Shaping the Future of Communication

Join our expert panel to delve into the future of communication innovations and opportunities.

This webinar panel will focus on the ever-increasing demands to explore dynamic public networks, interactive technologies and new workspace enterprises.

Will the upheavals transform the practice of ethics and working for the public interest?

Are there reasons to be hopeful about the future?

What are the critical needs for industries and research to thrive?

Please join the Australia and New Zealand Communication Association (ANZCA) to discuss these issues and more with leading journalist Danielle Cronin,

Professor Mark Pearson and Professor Julian Thomas.

Danielle Cronin is an award-winning journalist who is editor of Brisbane Times – one of the top 20 news sites in Australia.

Mark Pearson is Professor of Journalism and Social Media at Griffith University and is a journalism and media law educator, blogger and author.

Distinguished Professor Julian Thomas is the Director of the ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making and Society.

The panel will be in conversation with Journalism Lecturer at the University of Southern Queensland, Dr Caryn Coatney, who is a Queensland representative in the ANZCA Executive.

This event is supported by ANZCA and the University of Southern Queensland.
