2024 CMH Conference

 

 

Thursday - Friday, 21-22 November, 2024

Macquarie University, City Campus, 

Level 23, Angel Place, 123 Pitt Street, Sydney 

 

 

Proposals for papers are invited for the 2024 Centre for Media History Conference, Media Past Present & Future. Papers may explore any aspect of media history and contemporary media, or may consider the future of media in the context of social media, online culture, AI and other challenges. Varying research approaches are welcome, from conventional theoretical and historical analysis to practice-led research that involves creative media productions. 

 

Registration for the conference is free. Proposals are invited for individual papers or for panels (of up to four presentations).

Please send a 250-word abstract as a proposal for a twenty-minute paper to CMH Administrative Officer Kate Manlik by 5 August, 2024:  katherin...@mq.edu.au
