Volunteers Opportunities
51th Bayou Classic, MLK Day and
Superbowl Ambassadors
MLK-Day of Service -January 17, 2025
Building a Beloved Community: Unite, Serve, Transform on Martin Luther King Day
Join us this MLK Day as we come together on January 17, 2025 to build a Beloved Community in New Orleans through unity, service, and transformation. Let's honor Dr. King's legacy by working toward a more just and equitable society, where everyone is valued and respected, regardless of their race, ability, religion, or background. By participating in service projects, we can bridge divides, heal wounds, and create lasting change that will benefit our communities for years to come.
MLK Day is the only federal holiday designated as a National Day of Service to encourage all Americans to volunteer to improve their communities. High Voltage will partner with volunteers from Eskew Dumez Ripple for our 2025 MLK Day of Service project to transform the playground at Esperanza Academy Middle School.
