University of Missouri's Division of Biological Sciences is hiring an Assistant teaching professor.  Although the position is not targeted specifically toward people with a background in animal behavior, their department has a strong focus on behavioral research (with, e.g., Carl Gerhardt, Johannes Schul, Rex Cocroft, Manuel Leal) and the position may be attractive to ABS members who are looking for teaching positions in an environment that values behavioral research.  Their add lies below.

The Division of Biological Sciences at the University of Missouri invites applications for an Assistant Teaching Professor (non-tenure track). Qualifications include a doctorate in a life science or science education and independent or mentored teaching experience. We are interested in candidates who have developed active learning strategies, particularly at the introductory level. Although the position is non-tenure track, it includes full benefits and allows promotion through associate and full teaching professor. MU has a vibrant community of faculty interested in animal behavior. This position would be suitable for someone who enjoys teaching and who values working in a stimulating academic environment. Additional information about the position is available at: http://biology.missouri.edu/nttsearch/
