Doctor of Arts Fellowships are available at Idaho State University, Department of Biological Sciences, for research with Dr. Rosemary Smith (or another faculty).  The Fellowship can start in Fall 2013, and includes a non-resident tuition waiver, insurance, and a stipend.  I am interested in a student who would pursue the DA degree to combine the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning in biology education with an original research project in animal behavior.  My lab group pursues a diversity of questions in behavioral ecology and life history evolution, using combinations of field surveys, behavioral experiments, and genetic and isotopic approaches, and using the burying beetle (Nicrophorus) as a study system.  For more details about the Doctor of Arts degree or potential research projects, please visit (https://sites.google.com/a/isu.edu/rosemary-smith/) and contact Dr. Rosemary Smith.  Accepting rolling applications, by May 1, 2013 preferred.
