The School of Psychology at the University of Minho, Portugal, is seeking highly motivated and scientifically well-prepared students for its PhD Program in Basic Psychology.
Funded by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology, the program will award 5 (five) fellowships to the successful applicants. The fellowships provide full tuition and a stipend for accommodation and living expenses.
The Ibero-American Ranking of Psychology classified the School of Psychology at the University of Minho as the top-ranked Portuguese institution in all indicators of impact and scientific productivity in Psychology.
The Ph.D. Program accepts national and international applicants. The language of instruction will be English. Applicants with a strong interest in research and solid training in the scientific bases of Psychology and/or related fields, such as Biology, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, and Mathematics, are encouraged to apply.
For the 2013/2014 academic year, a maximum of 15 (fifteen) students will be admitted to the Program. Each student will apply to one of three laboratories,
- Human Cognition Laboratory;
- Animal Learning and Behavior Laboratory;
- Neuropsychophysiology Laboratory.
