The Department of Psychology at the
University at Buffalo, The State University of New York, invites applications
for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in behavioral
neuroscience. We are particularly interested in candidates who take a
developmental approach to key problems in behavioral neuroscience, especially
reproductive/maternal behavior, sexual differentiation, or emotion (including
stress or aggression). Applicants are expected to have an active, visible
research program, to publish theoretical and empirical research in top-tier journals,
and to contribute to both graduate and undergraduate supervision and
instruction. A strong potential for external funding is required. Applicants
should have a Ph.D. in psychology or a related field with some postdoctoral
