Trying to flip between the front and back cameras

I'm new to Kotlin.  I'm enjoying it very much.  But, it's been a while since I programed.  I just finished the ' Getting Started with CameraX  ' tutorial from the android developer website, and I'm trying to manipulate it to use both the front and back cameras.  I would like to be able to flip between cameras.  Is there any code available that I can add to the current code (possibly with explanation)?

Please see the CameraXBasic sample app that may help you to know how to switch the back and front cameras.
