A bad case about camerax

Hi, All, 

I found a device that cannot support camerax, although it's android 5.1.1 api 22.

Bellow are the details about the device:
Build.MANUFACTURER: Vivo
Build.BRAND: Vivo
Build.MODEL: Vivo Y51A
Build.VERSION.SDK_INT: 22
Build.VERSION.RELEASE: 5.1.1

Here are the things: （we test on CameraXBasic Demo）
1、first time I launch app, it preview very well. Once I click switch button, it totally gives me a dark screen, and nothing I can do except relaunch it.

2、first time I launch app, I click capture button, nothing change, no photo, no response.

please let me know if there are any progresses. thx.

Hi, thanks for your report.

We did a try on the latest CameraXBasic app. It works fine with the API 22 simulator.

Can you 

(1) Provide some log during the issue happen? It looks like the spec of the Vivo Y51A should be able to support CameraX, we might need some further info to analysis the issue.

(2) Please have a try on the original camera app on the device, and try to switch the lens facing of the camera)? We are wondering to know if the camera device is still alive.

Well, It does work fine with api 22, that Vivo Y51A is the only one device we can find until now.

The original camera app on the device works well also, and it can photo and switch back/front camera and the lens facing works fine.

I will attach some  log tmr. thx for your supporting.

Sorry that I don't have the Y51A on hand,  but I'm also looking for some more detail about the Vivo Y51A.

Any log or information (if possible) will be appreciated!

Here comes the logs.

The photo log is the procedure that I launch demo app and then click shot button.

The switch log is the procedure that I launch demo app and then click switch button.

and nothing more.

The camera framework seems to always fail with the error code 12.

We will investigate more about this symptom. Will update further information to you if we find a way to workaround this.
