OverlayEffect using Paint.ANTI_ALIAS_FLAG does not work

I used Paint.ANTI_ALIAS_FLAG to draw but both the Preview and the output Video are still not anti-aliased. Is there any way to fix this problem?

Could you provide example images with the aliasing problem?

The camerax version I use is '1.4.0-rc01' on pixel 4

Thank you for reporting the issue. I can now reproduce it locally. Unfortunately, I think the issue comes from the Surface.lockCanvas() API, which the current OverlayEffect is based on. I don't think there is a good way to fix it.
