No Applications are Working

Howdy,
I just created a new environment in Navigator and none of the =
applications are working in it. I click on launch and the bars on the =
bottom of the screen to their thing but nothing actually happens. Is =
there a limit on the number of environments that one can make or does =
the name have to be one word?
Although nothing in the new environment works, the other environments =
are working just fine.=20
I find it odd that things just suddenly stopped like that.
Running under macOS 11.6
