Upcoming Story format deprecations: amp-story-bookend & amp-sidebar

Folks,

As promised last year, we have started the deprecation process for the <amp-story-bookend> and <amp-sidebar> components in Web Stories:

• Intent to remove for the bookend component
• Intent to remove for the sidebar component

These components will soon start triggering validation warnings in Web Stories, and in some weeks will be disabled. Stories that use these components will remain valid, but the specific components (bookend and sidebar) will stop triggering. The Github issues linked above have details on the deprecation timeline as well as alternatives to consider, including ways to recreate these functionalities using the Web Player.

These changes help make the user experience of Stories more consistent, while continuing to give you control over how the Story consumption works on your sites.
