Please join us, on Tuesday 4/9 at 4pm in SCCE E110, for the 2nd talk of the Data Science Initiative speaker series.

Speaker: Asst. Prof. Brian House (Art and History of Art)

Title: The Sound of Data

Abstract: How is art research, and research art? What is the relationship between analytic and aesthetic forms of knowledge? How can sound visceralize data? This artist talk will explore several original projects grappling with such questions as applied to themes of surveillance, environmental justice, and climate change.

Light fancy refreshments will be served before the talk.
