The Amherst College Data Science Initiative (https://www.amherst.edu/about/science_at_amherst/data-science-initiative) is organizing a talk about alternative data is used in investment strategies.

Today, alt data is a multi billion dollar business, and every large fund across strategies depends heavily upon it to inform investment decisions.

Tony Birkman has multi-decades experience in this field, and worked for many well-known big players.

Please join us on Tue, 12/2, at 4pm, in the Science Center of Amherst College (25 East Drive, Amherst, MA), room SCCE A131.
