Suggest DSI speakers for 2026-27!

Dear All,

Thank you for being part of another successful year of activities of the Data Science Initiative at Amherst College.

We had talks from alumni/ae, parents, faculty, staff, and external speakers, covering topics from quantitative finance to avalanche forecasting to understanding the population of children in jails in Puerto Rico.

As we start planning for next year, we welcome your suggestions for speakers to invite. They can belong to any of the above categories, and also current students.

Don’t be shy, you can even volunteer yourself as a speaker =)
