Dear ALAO Colleagues,
The ALAO Data Interest Group (DIG) invites you to attend our first meeting on Friday, February 27 from 1:30–2:30 p.m.
DIG was established to provide a space for ALAO members engaged in or interested in data-related work across academic libraries. This includes areas such as data management, data literacy, research data services, visualization,
and emerging tools and practices. The goal of the group is to foster collaboration, professional dialogue, and shared learning across institutions and roles.
We recently surveyed interested members to determine an initial meeting time, and Friday, February 27 at 1:30 p.m. received the strongest response. We are now extending this invitation to the full ALAO community as we formally launch
the group.
If you are interested in attending, please email
d...@alaoweb.org by February 24, and we will send the meeting invitation and details.
Additional information about the Data Interest Group is available here:
We welcome participation from colleagues across ALAO who are interested in contributing to and shaping this emerging community of practice.
Cheers,
Michael
