Just a quick reminder that the annual Research and Publications Committee webinar is coming up next Tuesday, May 12 from 2-3pm! Registration is open for this presentation by Dr. Kawanna M. Bright on the topic of Library Research Survey Design, and we hope to see you there!

The most common method for librarians to conduct research is through online surveys. Learn how to design your surveys effectively and work with online respondents. This webinar will offer practical advice on how to align research survey topics and connect them to research objectives and craft effective survey questions and response choices. Attendees will learn tips and techniques and have the opportunity to ask questions.

Presenter:
Dr. Kawanna M. Bright is an expert in research design and methodology. She is an Associate Professor of Library Science at East Carolina University (NC). Dr. Bright holds a Ph.D. in Research Methods and Statistics from the University of Denver, and a MLIS degree from the University of Washington. She worked as an academic librarian for 10+ years and publishes extensively.
