Call for Co-Chair — ALAO Programming, Outreach & Marketing Interest Group (PROMIG)
Are you interested in programming, outreach, and marketing in academic libraries, or engaged in this work as a regular part of your job duties? The ALAO Programming, Outreach, and Marketing Interest Group (PROMIG) seeks a co-chair to join its leadership team for a two-year term beginning July 1, 2026.
PROMIG works to identify, address, and promote programming, outreach, and marketing issues that impact libraries and higher education. Learn more about PROMIG at https://www.alaoweb.org/promig
Term Length: July 1, 2026-June 30, 2028 (two-year term)
As PROMIG co-chair, you will collaborate with your co-chair to:
Recruit ALAO members with an interest in programming, outreach and marketing work.
Plan and promote engaging programs and other initiatives that support the group’s purpose, focus and goals.
Seek to foster communication and collaboration among PROMIG members, ALAO and the Ohio academic library community regarding programming, outreach, and marketing issues.
Endeavor to advance and promote programming, outreach and marketing initiatives, locally, nationally and internationally, and through partnership efforts.
