Dear Researcher,
We are therefore working on an edited monograph, "Connective Cognition: Computational Intelligence in Network Paradigms"for publication by CRC Press (Taylor & Francis Group). The monograph aims at presenting an overview of Computational Intelligence in Network Paradigms.
We are pleased to inform you that you can submit you paper for publication in the CRC Book Chapter under the following conditions:
1. Plagiarism should be less than 15%. Each of the primary sources as seen in the plagiarism report should not be more than 2 %
2. Format your paper according to the attached Word Template carefully.
3. If you have any equations in your chapters, kindly submit the Word and PDF versions of the chapters that have equations. Our production department requires the same.
4. Please provide a 150-200 word chapter abstract and an ORCID ID that will be used in the chapter’s online metadata in a separate Word file.
5. Submit the final Word and PDF of your paper created and checked by you. (Must contain your affiliation and email address)
6. You should obtain permission from the previous publisher for any of the material you want to reuse.
7. Please submit all files i.e. Original Manuscript with all source files in a single zip file to the email connectivecog...@gmail.com
8. Please check the quality of your paper thoroughly for any mistakes as it will further be reviewed by CRC (Taylor and Francis). If any serious mistake is found it can be rejected from their side.
9. Leave the chapter name in the Contributor Agreement. Submit in a Word file.
To ensure a smooth and seamless submission process, I have attached the manuscript submission guidelines to this email. These guidelines outline the specific formatting requirements and other essential information necessary for the manuscript submission. Please take a moment to review them thoroughly, as they will greatly assist us in effectively handling your work.
In addition to the documents attached, here are a few points that I kindly ask you to keep in mind:
• Please do not format the chapters; we will do all typesetting and layout as part of the production process.
• The text must be provided electronically in both Microsoft Word and PDF.
• All artwork should be submitted in electronic format as individual files labelled by chapter/figure number. (i.e. Fig 1.3, etc. Do not use section numbering such as Fig 1.3.5, etc.). Please ensure that proper labelling is done chapter wise. I would also request you to submit the figure files separately in jpg/png format. Please ensure that the figure labelling is correct. For example- For figures in chapter 1, the labelling will be Fig 1.1, Fig 1.2, Fig 1.3, Fig 1.4, Fig 1.5 and so on. For figures in chapter 2, the labelling will be Fig 2.1, Fig 2.2, Fig 2.3, Fig 2.4 etc. Please follow the same labelling for tables as well. Kindly ensure that the tables are editable in chapter word document.
While supplying artwork, please note that:
1. Any figure which is not reproduceable by hand should be supplied having a minimum of 1500x1500 dimension/pixels. For example: photographs of places/people/things etc.
2. Any figure which is created using MS office i.e. either word, excel, ppt etc. should be supplied in original version which is editable. For example: graphs/line art/charts etc. If any figure is supplied in .png, .tiff, .jpg etc. versions, then their dimension must be high resolution i.e. 1500x1500 otherwise production won't accept as the image size will be too small to read or interpret in print.
Please do not place any artwork within the text (including chemical equations/structures). We will do this for you during production. Kindly please place callouts/placement instructions where the figures will have to be inserted.
3. If your chapter will include case studies, please complete the attached “Case Study List” spreadsheet and submit with your final manuscript. Each case study should also be copied and saved as a separate individual document clearly titled with the name of the case study in a folder labelled “Case Studies.”
If the above requirements are met by the set deadlines (30th June 2024), your paper will be sent to be published in the CRC Book Chapter (Taylor and Francis) and the final decision is to be taken by the CRC. The book will be submitted for indexing in Scopus.
Kindest regards,
Alessandro Bruno
