We are pleased to announce a conference at the University of Verona dedicated to the presentation of the new book on Law & Technology: a methodical approach” of prof. Ryan Calo, focusing on methodological approaches in interdisciplinary research in the field of Law & Technology. The event will bring together leading scholars and high-level speakers from multiple disciplines to explore the intersections of law, technology, and society.

We warmly invite PhD students and early-career researchers working on a project in the field of Law & Technology to submit abstracts for consideration in our poster session. This session offers a unique opportunity to present your research project, receive feedback from experts, and engage with an interdisciplinary audience.

 

Conference Date: 21 January 2026

Who Can Apply: PhD students and early-career researchers (within 3 years of PhD) from diverse fields including law, computer science and social studies.

Poster Session Details:

  • Posters will be displayed outside the main conference venue.
  • A limited number of proposals will be selected for oral presentation during the conference.
  • An award for the best poster will be presented at the conference.

Submission Guidelines:

  • Abstract length: 350 words
  • Include: affiliation and list of publications
  • Submit by email to: beatrice....@univr.it and veronica....@univr.it
  • Deadline:  15 December 2025
  • Notification of acceptance: Before Christmas 2025

Please note that applicants are expected to cover their own expenses. Reimbursement will be considered only for selected presenters.
