📣 Call for Papers – IP&MC 2026 Track

Human Reasoning and Large Language Models: Alignments and Divergences

📍 Wuhan, China  

📅 30 October – 1 November 2026


This track is part of the Information Processing & Management Conference 2026 (IP&MC 2026), jointly sponsored by Information Processing & Management and Data and Information Management (Elsevier).


🧠 Scope

Human reasoning vs. LLM reasoning, including:

- Alignment & divergence in reasoning behaviors  

- Faithfulness, robustness, reliability  

- Human–AI hybrid reasoning  

- Evaluation, benchmarks, and cognitive perspectives  


📄 Submission Model (Double Submission)

- Poster papers → Conference presentation  

- Full papers → Conference presentation + Special Issue of Information Processing & Management (Scimago Q1)  

➡️ Only full papers are considered for the journal SI.


Key Dates

- Submission deadline: 30 June 2026  

- Final notification: 5 August 2026  

- Registration & early booking: 14 August 2026
