please notice that the deadline to apply for a position in DRIM, the national Doctorate in Robotics and Intelligent Machines, has been extended to 6 July 2022. Visit the website www.phdrim.it

The Italian Ministry of University and Research is introducing a new scheme of multidisciplinary Ph.D. Schools in strategic research areas, organized on a national basis, to gather a critical mass of top researchers and to establish unique, world-level education and research programs. 

Within this framework the *National Doctoral School in Robotics and Intelligent Machines* (PhDRIM), is offering several Ph.D. positions starting in 2022.

Successful candidates will undertake their research in one of the proposed topics, spending their time (from 3 to 4.5 years) in one or more Italian universities and research centers. They will have access to courses by top researchers in any of the participating institutions and a further chance to spend visiting periods in other highly specialized centers in Europe and worldwide. *More Information*

The Ph.D. has a minimum duration of 36 months and a maximum duration of 54 months, according to the study plan presented by the students.

DRIM is a consortium of 26 highly qualified international level Italian Universities and Research Institutions (see the list below) proposing the research themes and funding the scholarships. The University of Genoa manages the administration of the Ph.D. school on behalf of the whole consortium. The coordinator of the Ph.D. school is Prof. G. Cannata, University of Genoa.
