The workshop will present recent advances in bio-inspired intelligence, such as swarm intelligence and evolutionary computation, as a framework for advanced pattern recognition. Its main goal is to link the bio-inspired intelligence and pattern recognition communities to foster the development of robust, efficient, and adaptive solutions for challenging real-world problems.

Workshop proceedings will be published in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series by Springer. Authors must use the LNCS paper format available on the ICPR 2026 website.
