The paper submission deadline for the KM4LAW 2026 Workshop has been extended to August 3, 2026.
The Knowledge Management and Process Mining for Law (KM4LAW) workshop will be held in conjunction with EKAW 2026 on September 29, 2026.
WORKSHOP OVERVIEW
Artificial Intelligence (AI), Knowledge Modeling (KM), and Information Extraction (IE) methods are increasingly important for legal informatics. Recent research is actively engaging with Large Language Models (LLMs) applied in the legal domain, as well as the analysis of legal event logs through Process Mining (PM) techniques (e.g., regulatory compliance checking, mining legal event logs for process discovery, and predictive process monitoring).
KM4LAW serves as a forum to address current and emerging challenges in legal informatics. We welcome contributions addressing the extraction, representation, interpretation, and use of legal knowledge from both structured and unstructured sources, as well as the analysis of legal processes.

Application, design, evaluation, and impact of LLMs in the legal domain
Process mining for legal compliance and mining legal event logs for process discovery
