Dear all,

We invite you to submit proposals for Workshops and Tutorials at the 25th International Conference on Knowledge Engineering and Knowledge Management (EKAW 2026). The conference will focus on "New Frontiers in Knowledge Engineering".

Important Dates:

  • Proposal Submission Deadline: June 12, 2026 (23:59:59 AoE)

  • Notification of Acceptance: June 20, 2026

  • Workshops/Tutorials Day: September 29, 2026

Full Call Details: https://ekaw2026.di.unito.it/calls/call-for-workshops-tutorials

Call for Workshops

EKAW Workshops provide an informal and highly interactive setting for researchers to discuss specific topics, exchange ideas, and build community.
We welcome proposals that address:

  • Emergent technologies and methods in knowledge acquisition/management

  • New application domains or novel ways to rethink established ones

  • Domain-oriented, interdisciplinary, or “blue-sky” research challenging established paradigms

  • Areas with a dedicated and expanding research community

Call for Tutorials

EKAW Tutorials are designed to enable attendees to fully engage in emerging methods and technologies relevant to knowledge representation, established schools of thought, and exciting new application areas.

Submission Guidelines

Proposals should be submitted as a single PDF file (maximum 5 pages) via EasyChair, selecting the "Workshops & Tutorials" track. Proposals must include the title, abstract, motivation, intended audience, format, and details of the organizers. We strongly encourage diverse organizing committees (across institutions, gender, and geographic locations).
Submit via EasyChair: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=ekaw2026

Please feel free to reach out to the Workshop and Tutorial Chairs (Ilaria Tiddi and Laura Waltersdorfer) at ekaw2...@easychair.org if you have any questions.

We look forward to receiving your proposals!

Best regards,

Rachele Mignone, Publicity Chair @ EKAW2026
