We are pleased to invite you to participate in the Pattern Recognition and Computer Vision for eHeritage and Digital Humanities (PRESTIGE 2026), a half-day workshop held in conjunction with ICPR 2026, taking place on August 21, 2026, in Lyon, France.

For the first time, the workshop unifies two well-established IAPR TC19 events, namely FAPER and PatReCH, fostering a broader and more cohesive research community.

We are honored to host Guillaume Caron, Vice-Chair of IAPR TC19 (keynote title TBA).

📌 The workshop is sponsored by IAPR and will be held on-site as part of the official ICPR 2026 program.

Important Dates:
Paper submission deadline: May 16, 2026
Notification of acceptance: June 13, 2026
Camera-ready submission: June 20, 2026 (strict deadline)


Accepted full papers (more than 6 pages) will be published in the ICPR 2026 Workshop Proceedings, Springer LNCS.

We welcome contributions on the following topics:
  • Computer vision and generative AI for art and cultural heritage

  • Automated analysis and transcription of historical manuscripts and documents

  • Digital acquisition, representation, and manipulation of cultural artifacts

  • Augmented and virtual reality for cultural heritage communication and education

  • Image processing, classification, retrieval, and similarity search in the art domain

  • Point cloud analysis and segmentation for heritage sites and objects

  • 3D reconstruction of historical artifacts and architectural environments

  • Serious games, edutainment, and interactive storytelling for cultural heritage

  • Knowledge representation, ontology learning, and semantic modeling in cultural heritage

  • Robotic and autonomous systems for inspection, conservation, and preservation

  • Projects, prototypes, and digital tools for restoration, conservation, and heritage outreach
