We are happy to announce the third edition of TriCoLore, three days of joint workshops focusing on three main themes: cognition, robotics and neuro-symbolic AI – at their intersection with ontology! The event will host the following workshops:

The event will be hosted at PTH Brixen College, in Bressanone, Italy. To escape the summer heat, it's never too early to start thinking about December in beautiful Bressanone, with its Christmas markets, Glühwein, and an excellent scientific program!

  • Submission opens: 1st August 2026

  • Abstract submission deadline: 7th September 2026

  • Paper submission deadline: 18th September 2026

  • Notification: 25th October 2026

  • Speaker registration deadline: 10th November 2026

  • Camera-ready version due: 16th November 2026

Type of Contributions


We accept 3 types of contribution: 

  • Abstract for presentation only: 2 pages.

  • Short papers: 6-8 pages.

  • Full research papers: max. 10-14 pages.

The proceedings of the workshops will be published as a joint volume in the CEUR Workshop Proceedings series.

In addition, to celebrate the tenth anniversaries of the workshops ISD “Image Schema Day” and CAOS “Cognition and Ontology”, a joint call for a special issue of KI – Künstliche Intelligenz (German Journal of Artificial Intelligence) will be announced during the event. Authors submitting papers to TriCoLore will be particularly encouraged to submit extended versions to the special issue.

Conference Fee


The conference fee is 200 € for the entire event. Reduced fee for students: 100 € (including lunches, coffee breaks, and the conference dinner). 


Venue and Accommodation


The conference will take place in the scenic city of Bressanone/Brixen in South Tyrol, Italy. The PTH is housed in the historic building of the theological seminar behind the impressive Baroque cathedral and the cloister with its historic frescoes. A number of rooms have been reserved at the conference venue for the nights of December 1–4 at a special rate. Single rooms are available from €59 per night, including breakfast, and double rooms are also available. As availability is limited, we encourage participants to register early to take advantage of these rates.
