Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to announce an extension for abstract submissions to the workshop:

“Robots for Humans: Designing Social Robots That Spark Children’s Creativity”

to be held in conjunction with the ICSR + Art 2026 – 18th International Conference on Social Robotics
1–4 July 2026, London, UK

The workshop will take place on July 3rd, 2026 (9:00–12:00).

We are extending the submission deadline to allow more researchers and practitioners to contribute to this interdisciplinary discussion on creativity, social robotics, and Child-Robot Interaction.

Updated Important Dates

Extended deadline for abstract submission: 31 May 2026
Notification of acceptance: 15 June 2026
Workshop date: July 3rd, 2026.

We invite contributions from researchers and practitioners in HRI, AI, psychology, design, arts, education, healthcare, and related fields. Topics include creativity in Child-Robot Interaction, educational and therapeutic robotics, participatory design, artistic expression, neurodivergence, empowerment through creativity, and more.

Authors are invited to submit an extended abstract (up to 4 pages excluding references) in Springer LNCS format via EasyChair:
