Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to invite you to submit your research to the workshop "Graphs Across AI: From Structural Reasoning to Foundation Models", to be held in conjunction with IEEE WCCI 2026 (June 21-26, 2026, Maastricht 🇳🇱).

Workshop website: https://graph-across-ai.dii.univpm.it/

Overview & Scope Graphs provide a universal language for representing relationships, dependencies, and structural patterns across diverse domains. While Graph Neural Networks (GNNs) have popularized graph-based learning, the role of graphs in AI extends far beyond this paradigm. This workshop aims to explore the expanding role of graph-based reasoning and representation across AI, moving beyond GNNs toward structure-aware learning both for and with foundation models. Our goal is to consolidate theoretical, methodological, and application-oriented perspectives, strengthening the connection between graphs and AI.

Topics of Interest We welcome contributions on topics including, but not limited to:

  • Graphs in neural architectures: Modeling dependencies and computational structures.

  • Graph-based attention: Leveraging relational structures in attention mechanisms.

  • Knowledge Graphs and reasoning: Neuro-symbolic AI and integration.

  • Graph-driven interpretability: Using graphs to analyze and interpret model behavior.

  • Graphs for trustworthy retrieval: Integration of LLMs with KGs for reliable search.

  • Graphs in foundation model analysis: Token relationships, pruning, and coarsening.

  • Graph-based RAG: Graph-structured memory and knowledge integration.

  • Temporal and dynamic graphs: Evolving structures and continual learning.

  • Multi-agent systems: Interactions across agents and modalities.

    There are two submission formats:

    • Regular papers (up to 12 pages + references). Original research works. Regular papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference.

    • Discussion papers (up to 8 pages + references). Results and ideas of interest to the workshop audience, including extended abstracts of recent authors’ publications, papers currently under submission, position papers, system and application descriptions, and presentations of preliminary results.

Important Dates

  • Paper Submission Deadline: February 27, 2026 (it may be extended)

  • Notification of Acceptance: March 27, 2026

  • Camera Ready Papers: April 15, 2026

  • Conference Dates: June 21-26, 2026

All papers will undergo peer review under the same standards as regular IEEE WCCI submissions. For more details on submission guidelines, please visit our website.
