Dear Colleagues,
I would like to bring to your attention the Summer School AI-Enhanced Architecture 2026, an international training initiative organized by the Department of Architecture and Design of Politecnico di Torino.
The event will take place from July 13–17, 2026 at the Castello del Valentino, Turin, and is open to students and PhD candidates interested in the integration of Artificial Intelligence into architectural design processes.

SUMMER SCHOOL AI-ENHANCED ARCHITECTURE 2026

Over five intensive days, participants will take part in an architecture competition simulation: a fast-paced, structured design process aimed at producing a final proposal, supported by state-of-the-art AI tools.
The program will explore how AI can be integrated into architectural design workflows: from reading and interpreting the brief to concept development, from iterating solutions to visualization, through to the final representation and communication of the project. The goal is not to treat artificial intelligence as an autonomous or purely generative tool, but to investigate how AI-driven methods and tools can support informed design decisions, accelerate certain phases of the process, and strengthen the critical role of the architect in contemporary practice.
The Summer School will be led by MVRDV architects Lorenzo Mattozzi and Fredy Fortich. No prior experience with AI tools is required.
