We are happy to announce the 2025 International Workshop on Technologies for AI Governance (TAIG) on 25-26 October 2025 in Bologna, Italy. 
This workshop will be part of the European Conference on Artificial Intelligence (ECAI) 2025 event. 

The focus of the TAIG workshop will be on enhancing our understanding of AI’s latest development, its governance challenges, and working towards technologies that will help to tackle such challenges. You could find more information on this year’s workshop on our website (https://www.ln.edu.hk/sds/news-and-events-v0/sds_news_and_event_2025_TAIG ).

Participation in our workshop will be free of any fees. You are welcome to forward the workshop website to anyone who would be interested in participation, esp. to those who might attend ECAI2025. Please note registration (free of charge) is required for participation due to our limited workshop room size.

The workshop will span 1.5 days, commencing at 8:45 am and concluding around 6:30 pm. The workshop will focus on 3 key themes: Technologies towards Human Centric AI, Risks and Governance of Agentic AI, and Governance on Open-source AI. Each half day will be dedicated to one theme, with 4 or 5 distinguished speakers. There will also be panel discussions held after the themes of Agentic AI and Open-source AI. Speakers of these themes will be invited to the panel discussion as well.
