DJ, not sure if I missed one of your posts, but while Buddy posted a bit of an introduction, could you provide a bit of information about yourself? I gather from your posts that you rwork for Agiga, but it would be nice to know a little about what your role at Agiga is etc.

Thanks, it just sounded like you already had the glasses. I assume you might be one of their early Beta testers because it was my understanding nobody from the “Pioneer” group had yet received the glasses and that shipping would only now start in short order.

I am part of Pioneer. I have not received my glasses yet. I did get an email stating they should arrive between December 1-10. I know so much because I have attended all Zoom meetings and was able to hear exactly what the glasses do. I’m so excited about them. Can’t wait to get my hands on them!

Sorry for the intrusion, I'm writing from Italy because I follow the development of these glasses for the magazine I collaborate with.
Magazine that informs the Italian blind community and beyond, because they also follow us from abroad.
The information concerns useful news for them, also regarding accessible aids and technologies.
We also spread the information on WhatsApp because here the blind community has many specific themed WhatsApp groups, here are some examples:
smart home
travel
accessible technologies
work
computer science
legislation
dedicated projects
In short, we try to help each other.
Many, including the writer now, purchased the Ray Ban Meta gen 2.
But if this project becomes global, it will be much better than Ray Ban.
Can I also ask you in the U.S.A. Do you have WhatsApp groups that spread useful news among the blind?
