Now that the Pioneers have been released, please tell me the cost to
purchase them. Also, what are the subscription options if known?

Thanks.

For the glasses, they are $599. And for the subscription, they only announce so far two tears that I am aware of. You have a free tier, or you also pay $9.99. You can find all this information on their website.

Something that needs to be pointed out. What's the difference in between the two subscriptions? Somebody told me that you only get 30 minutes of live AI with the free subscription is that the difference? I was not able to find this particular information on the website whenever I was grabbing the glasses.

Hi,

All the answers you’re looking for are here:

Ignore the section on referral codes, it no longer applies.

Specifically,

Q: What is included in an EchoVision subscription?

A: EchoVision offers different subscription tiers designed to fit different usage needs, ranging from casual daily assistance to professional-grade independence.

  • Explorer (Free): Curious Beginnings: For those ready to discover how AI can change the way they see the world. Includes unlimited Q&A sessions, 5 min of Live AI sessions, and 100 pages of reading per month, plus a standard 12-month warranty.
  • Independence ($9.99/mo introductory rate): Live on Your Terms: Designed for the daily desire to move, read, and explore without having to ask for a hand. Includes unlimited Q&A, 90 min of Live AI sessions, and 1000 pages of reading. This tier also extends your warranty to up to 24 months as long as the user remains in this tier.

Q: What happens if I run out of my monthly quota?

A: If you run out of Live AI or Reading credits, you have three easy options:

  1. Upgrade your tier anytime via the companion app for immediate access.
  2. Purchase a Top-up Pack (e.g., $15 for 30 Live AI sessions or $15 for 1000 reading pages). These credits never expire.
  3. Wait for the reset on the first day of your next billing cycle.

OK, well I'll try this beginner one and see how much I end up using it. And if I feel that I need more than I will go and upgrade my subscription. Looks like I would've had more. I would've paid the extra nine dollars. But that's OK. Considering I haven't received the glasses yet. But whenever I received them, I can go in and upgrade my subscription. I wrote you a private message as well cause I didn't feel like the question I had was irrelevant to the group. And I look forward to your reply. You've definitely been very very helpful. And I hope that your company continues to thrive and do well.

Hi Joseph,  I would start with the free stuff, and if you need more, then go to the basic subscription.

Dear Buddy,

Thank you for being so helpful!

I am wondering how much you can reveal about future plans. My question is whether there are plans to make the glasses more capable offline. For example, it would be great to have OCR reading capability offline. Also, could they be enabled to provide basic orientation, such as, “Guide me to the beech tree,” by telling me, “More to the right,” “stop. There is an obstacle.” Such navigation is not useful if there is latency by being online.

Warmly,

Ralph
