I just tried   reading my prescription info on some tablets.

I got a  totally generic response  about dr smith at 555-123-4567.

Why cannot I not read a prescription?

Is it so personal even I cannot read it?

Nah. It isn’t that. It might be too small, too blurry, or for some other reason not easy to read the particulars, or the text is getting cut off due to the curvature of the bottle and the way it’s being held.

my glasses have been shipped, supposed to get them on Monday.  I already have the meta view, so will be interesting to compare.

Breaker breaker! Good Buddy.

I think it is really due to the curvature of the bottle/vial which is about 1 inch in ddiameter.

I pealed the label off and stuck it to a piece of paper.

EVG Read it perfectly.

Ciau!

Yes, it is always interesting to hear from people who have  the opportunity to try both brands.

In this case, it is not like comparing coke and pepsi.

These glasses are different animals.

But similar in a lot of ways.

Butch, this is awesome news. I look forward to a good comparison between the Agiga glasses and the Meta glasses.

You didn't say which AI mode you were using?  It is important.  Scene description and Live AI will do their best and you can ask them follow-up questions to get the information you need, but Reading Mode is going to do the best at reading text.  In all cases lighting is very important.  Reading Mode will give the best feedback on the quality of the image you are providing.  In my experience Reading Mode is the best path to success in circumstances such as this. I recently presented EV glasses in reading mode with one of those ultra tiny instruction manuals.  You know, the size of a playing card and what seems to be 3-4 point font that appear like ant tracks.  While Reading Mode struggled to get the right placement and condictions it ultimately got the job done.  I was VERY impressed and pleased.

For the longest time the Meta glasses seemed to have guard rails kup that did not allow the visual interpretation of prescriptions or anything adjacent to medical matters.  If you prompted enough and just the right way you could get some information though.  I've given up on them for this sort of thing, so I don't know if that has changed.

Tom.

One other thing ... when in reading mode and trying to get it to read small print I find myself surprised at how close the EV glasses want you to get them to the glasses (particularly the right side and a bit up more than you might expect).  Just a tip to reduce time your working with it to get the bottle positioned optimally.

That is not my experience. I have had  very little need to reposition the glasses and find they read most printed extremely quickly and well.

My experience has been similar to Tom’s.
