That is not a minor deal. You grow up. If you do not wish to make sure that you spell names correctly, then you have a lot to learn missy.

Haylie and James,
Both of you please cut it out. There is not room on this list for a shouting match. Hailie, I agree people should spell your name correctly. However, there are several different versions of Haylie and even if someone doesn’t spell your name correctly, don’t fall into the trap of taking things so personal. You would be surprised how many different ways I encounter misspelling Michael. UFTA!
James, also please stop this. We all are trying to learn and contribute to the EchoVision system. We don’t need fighting.
And, if either of you think I am not minding my own business, getting good constructive content on this list is everyone’s business.
Best Regards,
Michael Hingson

I am not upset because you didn’t know what HTY meant. I didn’t mean to type that or send it. I’m simply saying my headphone went dead. And I was asking the original Haley to be nice to Jean because we all don’t have computer skills like maybe Haley does or does not.

Excuse me, It doesn’t mean anything. My headphone died before I knew it died. You need to be nicer. I don’t know, Jean. I don’t know how old Jean is. But it doesn’t matter not everybody was born in the age of computers. Some of us were born long before computers had even been thought of. If you want to make fun of people, let’s make fun of the young people who don’t even know how to dial a phone with buttons on it. Be nice and stop being a jerk.

Haylie,
It sounds more like you like to make wild and unfounded assumptions about things you know nothing about. Shame on you!
For your information I have read the user's guide numerous times trying to figure out if I am doing anything wrong and I am following all the instructions as they are written. Yesterday, when my glasses arrived, I had no trouble completing the initial set up. Then today I had no trouble setting up my phone's hotspot and connecting my glasses to it. Then when I started actually trying to use the glasses, that is when the problems began. I kept going back to the users guide to see if I was missing anything but found that I was following their instructions, minimal and vague as they are.
I contacted support and they said that they were able to reproduce the problems I was reporting and then told me how to send the diagnostic data they needed. At least they aren't making wild and unfounded assumptions like you.
The next time you feel like making assumptions about other people you know nothing about, try just keeping your big mouth shut! Shame on you!

I saw nothing about a second listing with "BLE" in the name even if that is specifically mentioned in the user's guide. Maybe I simply missed it and after connecting more or less accidentally to the right connection the other one went away, I can't say for sure, but even now when I forget the glasses and pair them again, I only see one instance of the glasses.
> > > Also, just because some features/information is missing does not mean that what is there is incorrect or not good information. So far I found whatever is in the user's guide works as advertised. I totally agree that for example triple pressing the power/camera button has to be added and in time maybe there should be information about things like the wear detection although this could be explained with a single line below the actual control as it is often done with iPhone settings. The user's guide at this stage focuses on the actual glasses and not on what is in the app because there is also nothing in the user's guide about connecting to Air and Be My Eyes and while again it's pretty straight forward, I agree that a section describing what all can be done in the app should be added.

Hopefully Buddy or somebody from Agiga can chime in here and explain how it should be. Of course it would also be helpful what others see. When I pressed the AI button 6 times which the glasses correctly confirmed started Bluetooth pairing, I went to Bluetooth settings on my iPhone, the glasses were at the bottom and I tapped on them and they paired. I then renamed them "EchoVision Glasses" and specified that they were a headset and that is all I had.

The other is for audio to and from the glasses so you can use them as headphones or a headset, that one will not have BLE in it's name. Which one is still connected? It's probably the control channel and that is why your phone's audio is still coming through your phone.
