You wrote “my manual says 3 times reads qr code”. What manual are you referring to? I read through the updated user guide in the app as well as on the website and there is no mention that any button press is for QR codes.
The only instance where QR codes are even mentioned in the guide is when it says “Install the EchoVision app by Agiga from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. You can also scan the QR code inside the box or on the Quick Start card”.
Sounds like a version of the EchoVision user guide which is available on the Agiga EchoVision website and which happens to be identical with what you get when you access the “Guide” tab in the app.
Maybe you can include the section you are referring to.
OK, I now understand what you said, I’m curious where you got this from because this does not match with the user guide available online and which said it was only updated 11 days ago on February 27, 2026.
The triple press of the camera button definitely does not scan for QR codes because if you try it, you’ll find that it announces the amount of battery you have left, whether it’s charging or not and finally the Wi-fi you are connected to is announced.
I also noticed that your version mentions that pressing the AI button 4 times is supposed to initiate a “quick reading mode”. I successfully updated my glasses to the latest release and pressing the AI button 4 times for me does nothing.
It is my understanding that there is a beta group which gets new releases and features even before they are released to the Pioneer group, maybe the quick reading mode is already available to that beta group?
I don’t know why people even want a local version of the user manual especially at this point in time when there are still many updates and changes happening. This file opens the same way as the actual web page so one can just bookmark the online version of the user manual.
You can either do this by adding it to the bookmark bar in Edge or Cjhrome or you can go to the user guide online, copy the URL and then manually create a shortcut on your desktop.
This way whenever you activate the sholrtcut, it loads the online version which I assume will always be the most up-to-date.
I provided a link for the manual in one of my emails, but if you don’t have it any more, just Google “EchoVision User Guide” and the first search result will take you straight there.
Hi there MrPooch,
I also like to have manuals at my finger tip, as on my victor reader stream.
Can you share a link for the currently all new and up-to-date manual?
Thanks,

Hi,
Currently AGIGA isn’t taking any new orders until possibly sometime after July. They are going to be sending the final glasses to the Pioneers who preordered the glasses. Once they are taken care of, and production continues. They may open up the ability to order after second quarter of 2026. Which is after June. And if nothing changes, the glasses will be $599. A bit more if you require specialized lenses like prescription lenses. In addition to the $599 for the glasses. Those wo order when AGIGA opens it up for the general public, will be paying for a subscription to use the AI features that the EchoVision Glasses offer. Such as the Q&A, and Live AI. The reading feature may or may not be free, depending if the reading feature will be using AI. Hope this helps, and if there’s something that I miss spoke. AGIGA may come on and correct me.
