Hi all,
I just joined this list this morning and wanted to share some initial feedback and observations regarding the latest system update for the glasses.
The new system update that came out a few hours ago allows users to access pictures taken on the glasses directly from the companion app, which is a great addition.
I have observed a few issues that may need attention. First, while the Live AI feature is now functioning, the voice output when using Live AI specifically has significant static. The standard voice response when asking a non-Live AI question sounds fine, which suggests the issue is isolated to the Live AI feature. Second, when viewing a picture in the gallery within the app, there is a mislabeled and non-functional button labeled "IC_more" that appears.
I also wanted to report a connection issue: when the phone’s hotspot is not broadcasting and the glasses leave the range of a known Wi-Fi network (like home or work), the device does not always seamlessly switch back to the hotspot as expected. This requires manual reconnection and is quite frustrating. I recall seeing information that Bluetooth might be used as a backup connection method when Wi-Fi fails; if that is the case, it would greatly help the seamlessness of connection.
Finally, on a feature suggestion note, I am hoping future updates will include a feature to automatically add AI-generated labels to pictures taken with the glasses and attach them to the files for easier sorting and searching later.
I will be filing these items as bugs in the relevant form and apologize in advance if any of these have already been posted by other members.
Does anyone have suggestions regarding how to make the hotspot connection more seamless right now?
Best regards,
Cory
