Hi y’all,

I’ve just made a couple minor changes to the bug and issues reporting form. First, I fixed a typo I noticed. Next, I have clarified in the instructions at the top that the crash logs submission from iPhone’s analytics screen is only necessary if the EchoVision companion app on the phone crashes, otherwise it doesn’t get generated. and need not be sent (because there isn’t one.) Finally, I changed the 1 to 5 scale to explicit radio buttons, which should be easier to manage, along with an esplanation for each.

Which reminds me. What are people’s thoughts on the scale? Does it make sense for 1 to be most severe with 4 being least, or should the scale be inverted, with 1 being the last problematic and 5 being most?

Thanks again for all of your help.

I would say invert the scale myself.

I agree, the higher the severity, the sooner it needs attention. But honestly, it doesn't really matter as long as you are consistent in how you handle them.

Hello buddy,
I believe that the feedback form should be all contained within the app.
There seems to be relatively easy ways to programmatically get  most of the information that you asked for in the form itself, ie. Version Numbers OS #'s, Device type, etc.
You can then programmatically either send it to a custom Google form, A Google sheet, or a database.

Hi Buddy and all,

this information on how to give feedback is very helpful.

Please share any other tips on how we can be most helpful in the app or on this list.

I do agree that the buttons, for me would be more intuitive if the 1 was the weaker concern and 5 was the big concern.

thank you for the feedback

I agree. Invert the scale.
