on the webinar for pre-order customers, there was discussion about connecting the glasses to a mobile phone using a USB cable. I am still not clear as to whether this can be done. This would be very useful for Wi-Fi connectivity in circumstances where a hotspot cannot be created due to lack of cellular data.
I did post a question about connecting to Wi-Fi through Bluetooth, as the matter glasses do, but perhaps I submitted it to the wrong webinar as it was not answered.

I recall that discussion. If I recall correctly Xiaoran was explaining that a wired solution had been considered but ruled out for a variety of reasons. I can certainly understand the complexities of wired tethering to the phone. I tried out the ARx-Vision headsets that are wired and found the wired tethering to be cumbersome, troublesome an ultimately too much for me. As it stands we will likely be dealing with some wired tethering for extended battery life via powerbanks. Thankfully the nech powerbanks might keep the wires somewhat manageable.
