I received my glasses yesterday. Here is what I experienced so far. The package came via FedEx. It was in FedEx bag, wrapped several times in bubble wrap. I broke the seal on the box. The box has a magnetic closure. The instruction were on top. They come in both braille and large print. The case was next. The case is leather with magnetic closure. The glasses were in the case. Both arms had plastic protective sleeves in them. The nose bridge had a plastic protection on them also. The magnetic sunglasses has a nice slot they were tucked in. They easily magnetized on the glasses. The case and glasses were both fully charged. There are two cameras on each side of the front of the glasses. When I put the glasses on, it stated, “Glasses on” and told me battery percentage. Connecting the glasses to the app was very easy. On the left arm is the Agiga logo and the volume control. If slide my finger towards the front, the volume increases. Slide my finger towards back, volume decreases. The camera/video record button on top left are at the front of the glasses. On right handle, there is the Agiga logo. The action button is on front of that arm. If pressed once, it does scene description. If pressed twice, goes into live AI mode. If pressed three times, reading mode. Now about live AI mode. When I press the button on right arm twice, it states, “Connecting to live AI please hold on”. After about 1-2 seconds, it states, “Connected to live AI. What can I do for you?” After that there is silence. I tried asking several questions, but never got a reply. After about 30 seconds, it states, “I’m exiting now”. I plan on reaching out to Agiga to see if I’m doing something wrong. I have the glasses connected to my WiFi and have the app open. So I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. Maybe if there is anyone who knows what to do, please let me know.

This is great, thank you. Did the glasses fit you? I don’t want them too tight?

OK, I am confused; I thought the was only 1 camera on the glasses, and also an l e d to indicate the glasses camera was in use.
Could someone please clarify this issue?
Thanks,
Monte

Subject: Re: [echovision-discuss] Glasses
The glasses fit me great. They are comfortable on my face.
Quick question:
Given I filled the form out but was not communicated with as to if I was on the list or not [but am assuming I’m not on the list of the folk who get the early version], is it possible to change the responses before the shipping of the next batch next year?
I’d like to change the email account the glasses are tied to. It has taken so long to get these that I went ahead and got the meta Oakley vanguard upgrade and would likely gift 1 of the 2 glasses to my daughter after testing the echos when they ship.
How will this effect the lifetime service?
So far as I know, all of the Pioneer units were spoken for prior to October 16th, when I finally received the form and responded on October 16, the same day I received the last form.
I have been informed, the rest of us will receive the final product sometime during the first quarter of 2006.
