Update: Communications And Pioneers Edition Status

Dear EchoVision Community,


We hear you. 


First, we understand that communication over the past few weeks has been less than we would like, and for that, we sincerely apologize. Our intention is to put you, our customers, at the center of everything we do. Without you, there’s no EchoVision, and we don’t take that for granted. We appreciate and thank you for your trust; please stick with us a little longer. 


During this time, we have not been resting. To address the communication shortcomings, Agiga has brought two more of us to connect with you, our customers. Sammie and Buddy have come on board this week to address all support and service concerns. As they get up to speed, if you have contacted us over the past weeks, expect to hear from one of them if you haven’t already. This also means that we now also have dedicated time that one of us will be available. Generally, our hours will be Monday-Friday from 10AM Eastern/7AM Pacific to 2PM Eastern/11 AM Pacific, then again from 3 PM Eastern/12 PM Pacific to 7 PM Eastern/4 PM Pacific. If you call during those times and reach our voicemail, be assured that your call will be returned. Over the next several days, it may take a little longer as we work through our backlog, but expect response times to be faster moving forward once we’re caught up. 


Pioneers Edition glasses

We can’t wait for you to get your hands on EchoVision. We’re sure that we are as excited as you are to get them. 


The path from prototype to production presented unexpected challenges, including a last-minute component vendor delay, ambitious upgrades to the magnetic design for a more reliable sunglasses clip, and a temporary factory closure for evacuation due to the deadly typhoon in Asia. While we initially believed our first batch was insulated from these delays, they ultimately caused a shift in our timeline. We have since resolved these issues and are now targeting a first shipment in mid-November, with all Pioneer units still expected to ship before Christmas. 


Keep an eye on your email. All Pioneers will receive an estimated shipping timeframe for your EchoVision Pioneers Edition within the next few days. 


The Agiga team is grateful for your patience, and more than that, your trust in us. Certainly as a small startup doing something revolutionary, we have faced many challenges. As we navigate those, we are sorry that our communication with you has suffered. We are sorry for falling short of our goals and intention in this area and have learned from this experience. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with any questions. We will do our best to respond with timely and accurate answers.
